- Partnered (ballroom/latin/jive/rock & roll)
- Street 1 (krump, hip-hop, hip-funk)
- Street 2 (breakdance)
- Folk (belly dance, gumboot, and ethnic)
- Show (jazz, lyrical, Broadway)
- Fusia (any fusion of hip-hop and another style)
- Open (anything goes)
2. Section:
- Solo (x1 dancer)
- Couple (x 2 dancers)
- Trio (x3 dancers)
- Team/crew (x5-8 dancers)
3. Division:
- Tiny Tots (6 & under)
- Juvenile (7-9)
- Junior (10-14)
- Intermediate (15-17)
- Senior (18 & over)
